The story follows Shu and his friends, Jiro and Kluke, as they journey to stop Nene, an ancient enemy who controls destructive "land sharks." When mysterious shadows appear, granting them immense power, they discover they can summon powerful "shadows" in battle. Players explore a vibrant world, engage in turn-based combat, customize their characters' abilities through a class system, and unravel a grand narrative about destiny and ancient powers.
