Following the events of "Quest for Booty," Clank has been abducted by the mysterious Zoni and taken to the Great Clock, a cosmic device designed to maintain the flow of time. Ratchet embarks on a desperate mission to rescue his robotic best friend, uncovering shocking truths about his own Lombax origins along the way. Meanwhile, Clank must master new time-manipulation abilities with the Chronoscepter to repair anomalies and prepare for his destiny as the Great Clock's caretaker. The game features distinct gameplay segments for both Ratchet and Clank, with Ratchet exploring vast new stellar environments with his ship and hoverboots, and Clank solving intricate time-based puzzles.
